Sally-Anne Baron

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Chief Financial Officer with extensive experience in the financial sector, Sally-Anne started her career at Morgan Stanley. In 2004 she went to work for a hedge fund group client opening a Bermuda office with responsibility for the finance group and managing the opening of new funds. She later became a founding director, and then CFO, of an investment manager specializing in real asset investments, helping to grow the investment from seed to $400m in the post financial crisis environment. In all of her prior roles Sally-Anne encountered many of the issues Trunomi is solving. She is a graduate (Hons) of Business from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Maitrise in Commerce Exterieur from L’IUP Clermont-Ferrand, France and a Chartered Management Accountant.

Naresh Singhal

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Engineering and product management leader with experience delivering to international standards in multi-culture, multi-vendor, and multi-centre operations environments, from concept to delivery and customer experience management. Expertise in building enterprise/mobile applications and web scale systems. Deep interest in user experience and usability. Responsible for Trunomi’s product portfolio, defining feature roadmap and managing implementation, enabling end-users to easily manage their privacy and Pii footprint with their mobile devices.

Anna Mazzone

GLOBAL HEAD OF CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT

Anna joined Trunomi in November 2015 and brings 20 years’ financial services industry experience. The former Global Head of KYC Managed Services at Thomson Reuters, Anna founded and grew Thomson Reuters’ Org ID KYC Managed Service, leading a team of more than 150 staff and managing clients in more than 80 countries. In her dual global and UK role at Trunomi, Anna is leading the global growth of Trunomi’s client base, with operational responsibilities for Trunomi’s UK business based in Level39 as Managing Director, UK.

Nicola Koronka

ADVISOR / MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS

Nicola supports the Trunomi team from its London base in Level39. Bringing almost a decade of experience in the financial technology sector, Nicola has previously worked with startups including The Currency Cloud through to industry heavyweights such as VocaLink and data analytics firm, SAS. Nicola provides consultancy services to Trunomi as a director of Missive.

Kartik Venkatesh

CHIEF ARCHITECT

Full stack end-to-end architect with expertise in both Open Source/Apache and Microsoft stacks. 15 years of experience in a wide range of fields from entertainment to financial to medical. Kartik has a strong passion for architecting and delivering secure, web-scale, efficient, performant distributed systems, infrastructure and data solutions. He has an expert level knowledge of architecting and building big data and machine learning platforms, analytics solutions, social and collaborative solutions, and cloud and managed services.

Chia Brewin

CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

A former Managing Director of a Young Enterprise (UK) company which won a 2008 Institute of Directors Award for Innovation, Chia joined Trunomi in late 2014. Before that she helped run successful general election campaigns for a major political party in Bermuda. Chia is a graduate of Queen Mary University of London majoring in Biology & Psychology. She has a strong interest in developing customer relationships and communications, and is an expert mulit-tasker.

Palo Alto native with 20 years of experience in leading teams to define, develop and deploy Cloud and Managed Services for customers of all types. Deep knowledge of processes for inventing, engineering and launching next generation security, networking, video and mobile services.

Pawel Veselov

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER

Pawel is an end-to-end systems architect and engineer with over 20 years of total software development experience. He specializes in architecting and building server-side systems, and has an experience ranging from building proof-of-concept systems, to implementing scalable, fault tolerant and highly available cloud based backend platforms. Pawel has a deep understanding of large volume data and request processing designs, and he utilizes and brings together variety of different types of databases for optimized data storage and retrieval. He is also an expert in designing commercial grade web service APIs for inter-system communications.

Brock Donnelly

CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Brock’s career has already seen him live and work in Europe and the US. He specializes in customer relationships and implementation support. Brock graduated from Babson College and has experience in business development with an on-line products company, a healthcare company in the UK, and a SaaS start-up. He is happiest interacting with customers and dealing with unique challenges every day.

William Guttman

Bill joins the Trunomi Board as a representative of Saturn Partners where he is a general partner. Over the past twenty years, Bill has held senior leadership roles – often as founder or chief executive – in several dozen institutionally backed early stage companies. Previously a professor of economics at CMU, Bill served on the cybersecurity committee of the National Academies of Sciences and Engineering, and co-founded CMU’s Cylab, one of the world’s largest cybersecurity research centers. Before entering the private sector, Bill worked on projects in 30 countries for the U.S. Agency for International Development, the World Bank, the IMF, and the OECD. He earned master’s and doctoral degrees in international relations at Balliol College, Oxford University, where he was a British Council Scholar.

Aaron Smith

Aaron Smith is the President and CEO of Igility Ltd. The Igility Group of Companies includes the wholly-owned IBM Bermuda and Cayman Agencies as well as other complementary businesses and partnerships focused primarily in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector. Mr. Smith has orchestrated several tech-oriented M&A’s including that for an ISP and an online classifieds advertisement and social networking site. Mr. Smith serves as a Director for several institutions including those in the ICT, financial services, education, recreation, and not-for-profit sectors. He sits on the local Chamber of Commerce Executive Board and chairs the Government’s Ecommerce Advisory Board. He is an active member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO).

Niklas Traub

Dr Niklas Traub is Managing Partner of IID Partners, an investment boutique with interests in biotech, oil exploration, software, semiconductors, media, music, digital content, and various other things. Niklas was a co-founder of Foundation Capital Strategies, a successful highly quantitative equity hedge fund based out of Bermuda. The founders spun off from Ross Capital Markets, at the time one of the largest hedge funds in the world. He was one of the founding hires at European Silicon Structures, an early pioneer in custom silicon chip manufacturing and one of the largest European startups of the era. Niklas has a Bachelors degree from the California Institute of Technology in Engineering and Applied Science with an emphasis on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Following graduation, he was one of the first wave of hires at Microsoft, then a tiny software company on one floor of a bank building in Bellevue. He left to pursue a PhD in mathematical Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh.
